Our machine is built with pride right here in the USA. It has always been this way since the beginning in 1946. We use all high quality parts, and heavy gauge steel to create this monster of a machine. At 1200 pounds, this machine stays planted and gets the job done. We take pride in employing American fabricators.

Every PTO-60 is hand crafted using the best materials available. Our reel and blade design has been tested again and again, and has been proven to be the best in the business. There is no plastic on this machine. We use a double chain drive and direct drive 90 degree gear box rated for more power than we are putting down. The PTO-60 is over-built in every sense of the word.
My name is Steve Klopping, I am the owner of Quality Turf Renovation, LLC. I was born in Southern California in the late 70’s. My family always instilled a hard working ethic into us as kids. I remember as a kid being in the shop with my dad and grandfather. We always repaired all of our own stuff, from vehicles to houses and, of course, renovators. I worked for my dad all through high school, waiting for my chance to enter the U.S. Air force, just like my grandfather did. I joined in 1997 just a week after my 18th birthday.
I got stationed in Alabama, and was trained to be a heavy equipment operator. I learned about everything from backhoes, excavators, water trucks, forklifts, cranes, motor graders, bobcats and anything that moved. My specialty was pavements and equipment. We worked on pavement on the base. Mostly on the flight line. I learned a lot, and eventually got out after 4 years of dedicated service to my country.
I moved back to Southern California just a few weeks after September 11th happened. I wanted to help my dad with his renovator business. So we started the design and manufacture process of the PTO-60. We did not change the design at all from the previous push behind model. We simply made it larger. We have tested this machine extensively, made improvements and what you see today is the fruits of our labor. In 2006, I decided to leave California and move to Arizona. That was the best move I ever made.
In 2016, I opened Quality Turf Renovation, LLC. Since our founding, we have sold a lot of units to customers all around the country. We manufacture this machine near Phoenix, AZ. We are a family owned business which allows us to keep the quality very high. We take pride in our product, and every unit is built in Arizona, USA.
